- 1931–1957: Maserati continued its motorsport success, with notable achievements including Juan Manuel Fangio’s Formula One World Championship win in 1957 driving the Maserati 250F. The company also began producing road cars during this period.
- 1958–1968: After withdrawing from factory-backed racing in 1957, Maserati shifted focus to luxury road cars, introducing models like the 3500 GT and the Quattroporte, the latter being one of the first luxury sports sedans.
- 1969–1993: Maserati underwent several ownership changes, including a period under Citroën’s control, which led to technological advancements. However, financial difficulties ensued, resulting in reduced production and quality issues.
- 1994–Present: Acquired by Fiat in 1993, Maserati revitalized its brand with new models and improved quality. In 2021, Maserati became part of Stellantis, continuing to innovate with the introduction of electric vehicles like the Grecale Folgore, aligning with modern automotive trends.
